Homefashion group (Kwantum) uses Dynamics 365 for process renewal
Homefashion Group stands for quality, speed, price, service and accessibility, says IT Director Jeroen Koppenaal. “We want to be sharp and keep moving. At the end of 2017 we redefined the IT strategy and addressed all important issues. A process architecture has also been developed and validated by the management. This led to the selection of Dynamics 365 as a system of integrated business applications and the driving force behind the business goals. This platform provides extensive basic functions and is easy to configure and set up. In addition, we can support our omni-channel processes with advanced business intelligence tools and retail apps”.
The financial administration was transferred with the help of Broad Horizon [formerly GreatCircle]. Financial applications from ISProjects and Broad Horizon have been added to the platform as extra building blocks. ISProjects provides automated invoice processing and Broad Horizon’s Extended Banking module for fast processing of banking transactions. “The collaboration with Broad Horizon and ISProjects is going well. This is partly due to the quality level of the consultants and the retail knowledge of these companies. We will now also use this innovation for the logistics processes and retail, wholesale and service processes. We will do this in close consultation with the business”.
In addition to the renewal of business processes, cloud first and a reduction in complexity were important principles of the strategy paper, according to Jeroen Koppenaal. That is why Dynamics 365 was a logical choice. “This platform not only helps to simplify and renew processes, but also offers the latest updates in real time. We reduce the variety of applications in one go and can continuously benefit from the latest Microsoft innovations”.
